Get To Know Your Instructor
What first inspired you to become an Instructor, and what keeps you passionate about it today?
I got inspired from a very young age, while still at school through various sport and physical activities as I've learned a lot of life lessons in general through this. My passion is and always has been the movement of the body and all it's abilities. Whether it be in sport, exercise or daily living. What keeps me passionate is the ever changing ways our bodies adapt over time and how we adapt our training methods for longevity and to remain healthy both inside and out.
What can clients expect from your classes — your style, energy, or focus?
You can expect Sugar, Spice and all things Nice. Inspired by the "Powerpuff girls". Not forgetting a bit of shakes. My style is based off a strength and athletic background with emphasis placed on improving the bodies performance whether in daily living or physical activities. The energy varies based on whether its a strength focus or athletic focus. With strength being more calm with muscles being under tension for longer. Where as in an athletic focus class the energy is high and the vibe frequency trembles through the walls.
Do you have a favorite Pilates / Sculpt move or piece of equipment, and why?
My favorite move would have to be the bridge, with all its variations and all the muscle groups it requires. The body is sure to feel it and not forgetting the shakes it brings to recruit all the stabilizing muscles.
What’s one fun fact about you that clients might not know?
Not as fun but a fact nonetheless, I'm part of the HYROX World Team as an assistant race director for HYROX races in the EMEA region.
What do you hope clients walk away feeling after a class with you?
I hope clients and members walk away feeling empowered within their own body and their capabilities. Motivated by the experience and exercises they've been through.
