Get To Know Your Instructor
What first inspired you to become an Instructor, and what keeps you passionate about it today?
Hitting rock bottom is what led me to begin my teaching journey, and witnessing people transform their lives for the better is what keeps me going. I went from being burned out and depressed to becoming disciplined and now a source of motivation for others in similar situations.
What can clients expect from your classes — your style, energy, or focus?
My teaching style is energetic, dynamic and motivational. Music is everything to me, so expect nice beats from hip-hop to techno and dance music. I’ve been enjoying teaching classical Pilates to share the real essence of the method and challenge the misconceptions around it. I'd be that teacher who wants you to do the things right and see you become stronger and better every day.
Do you have a favorite Pilates/Sculpt move or piece of equipment, and why?
I love all abdominal work/exercises and my favorite piece of equipment is a small Pilates ball because it's very versatile and fun. Most importantly it challenges our core and IYKYK.
What’s one fun fact about you that clients might not know?
I have a tattoo of a snake, even though I don’t like snakes. To me, it represents transformation, they shed their skin and live many lives. I’ve reinvented myself countless times and experienced many lives within this one.
What do you hope clients walk away feeling after a class with you?
I hope my clients leave feeling accomplished, motivated, and inspired. I aim to share my passion for living and help people move through life in alignment.
